LINKIN PARK Officially Cancels Tour Following CHESTER BENNINGTON's Death

July 21, 2017

LINKIN PARK has canceled its previously announced US. headlining tour, Live Nation has announced. The trek was called off just a day after the passing of the band's singer, Chester Bennington, who died by hanging.

"We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington," the tour promoter said in a statement, adding that "refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected."

The "One More Light" tour was set to kick off in Mansfield, Massachusetts on July 27.

Bennington played his last concert with LINKIN PARK just two weeks before his death — on July 6 — at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham, England.
